About Me

Hi, my name is Marisa. I graduated from Emerson College with a Film Production B.A., and have been in California ever since! I have worked in the past as a Post Production Assistant, Assistant Editor, Lead Assistant Editor, Jr. Editor and Editor. My true passion, however, lies in editing- I love weaving together all of the pieces of production to create an engaging story that people enjoy.

When I’m not behind the computer, I love hanging out with my two cuddly dogs (Salsa & Honey) and my dramatic cat (Maggie), binging TV shows, and watching hockey!

Most notably, I have edited Behind-the-Scenes DVD pieces for Deadpool 2, Creed 2, SuperFly and Alpha; and edited social pieces for Tomb Raider (2018), SuperFly, ThisClose and Sense8. I have also edited social media ads for the popular athletic clothing brand, Fabletics, that featured UGC video and were specifically targeted toward customer acquisition.

As an Assistant Editor, I have assisted on BTS work for multiple film franchises, social content for award-winning TV shows, and have been most recently been working in creative marketing for large companies such as Hulu, NBC, and Paramount+.

Bronze Winner, Home Entertainment: Original Content; Clio Entertainment Awards, 2018 for Deadpool 2 “Deadpool’s Lips are Sealed” DVD piece.

This was a lot of fun to work on! It is a behind-the-scenes look into all of the fun easter eggs sprinkled throughout the film, featuring interviews with main cast & crew members, such as Ryan Reynolds, and director David Leitch. It also features never before seen BTS footage, check it out!
